This is a user interface for a decentralized finance (DeFi) lending and borrowing protocol. The design facilitates two primary actions: allowing users to borrow assets against their cryptocurrency collateral and lend out their assets to earn interest.

The core challenge was to make the inherently complex and high-stakes processes of crypto-collateralized borrowing and peer-to-peer lending feel secure, transparent, and manageable for users. This required demystifying financial risks—like liquidation thresholds, interest rates (APY), and transaction fees—within a single, streamlined interface that handles sensitive financial transactions and real-time blockchain data.
The core challenge was to make the inherently complex and high-stakes processes of crypto-collateralized borrowing and peer-to-peer lending feel secure, transparent, and manageable for users. This required demystifying financial risks—like liquidation thresholds, interest rates (APY), and transaction fees—within a single, streamlined interface that handles sensitive financial transactions and real-time blockchain data.

The goal was to create a self-service portal that empowers users to manage their crypto assets for loans or yield autonomously, by providing absolute clarity on transaction terms, collateral health, and financial obligations before any action is confirmed, thereby building trust and minimizing user error.
The goal was to create a self-service portal that empowers users to manage their crypto assets for loans or yield autonomously, by providing absolute clarity on transaction terms, collateral health, and financial obligations before any action is confirmed, thereby building trust and minimizing user error.

The design achieves clarity and user agency by visually segregating the distinct workflows for borrowing and lending. For borrowing, it emphasizes the critical relationship between collateral value and borrowing power with clear limits and a dynamic summary of the total debt obligation. For lending, it simplifies the selection of loan terms and presents earnings (interest, APY) upfront. Both flows culminate in a unambiguous, consolidated summary of the transaction—including fees, due dates, and total repayment—ensuring informed consent is given during the pending transaction state, which reinforces a sense of security and control.
